This summer, The Callback Company is launching a 100% virtual intensive for both playwrights and performers. Co-led by Callback Company Founder Julie Bearden Carver and Actor/ Playwright Hannah Avery, this two part intensive is designed to prep you with writing samples and audition materials perfect for both college auditions and real world applications.

To Audition for the Creativity Unleashed Discount, please submit
-One Self Taped Contemporary Monologue less than one minute long
AND/OR
-One Playwriting Sample that is ten pages or less (not including title or character pages)
You also have the option to submit one 45 second clip of you singing. Please upload all videos as an unlisted YouTube link and all writing samples as a PDF. If submitting a video, please make sure to state your name and audition piece prior to your performance!

Hannah Avery is an actor, director, playwright, and marketing specialist from Suwanee, GA. In 2020, Hannah received her BA in Theatre with minors in Dance and Musical Theatre. She has also won several awards for her work as an actor, playwright, and director, and has been nominated four times for the American College Theatre Festival, advancing to the semifinal round of Irene Ryan Auditions in 2020 (Region 4). In October of 2019, she received the highest female score for screening auditions at The GA Theatre Conference. She is also a recipient of the William Walter Duncan Excellence in Theatre Award. When the spotlights are off, Hannah enjoys spending time with her pug, photography, and traveling.

Each Participant will receive private coaching sessions from both Julie and Hannah, showcase their new skills weekly for their peers, and walk away from camp with 2 monologues and 2 musical theatre songs to add to their book!
Julie Bearden Carver is a professional musical director, voice and acting coach, orchestrator and arranger. Julie made her Broadway debut playing Piano 1 for Mary Poppins at the New Amsterdam Theatre in New York City and has accompanied Actors Equity Association principal and ensemble auditions and classes at New York University and Barnard-Columbia. At the Juilliard School and Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall (Lincoln Center) and the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra (Florida) Julie has played with notable conductors, composers and vocalists that include Andrea Bocelli, Bernadette Peters, Eric Whitacre, and others.

Each Participant will receive individual feedback on their pieces, attend weekly readings of their work, and walk away with 7 solid writing samples. As an added bonus, monologues written in part one will be performed in part two!
