Vocal

Warm-ups you can use forever!

Mock Audition - Attendees will be asked to prepare two 16-bar cuts from uptempo and ballad selections appropriate for a role in one of the featured shows.  You will receive feedback from our Resident Production Staff regarding slate, choice of material, character type, and audition readiness.

Music Intensive - Music reading and lyric interpretation tricks for a successful music callback

Headshot and Resume - Headshots will be taken and Resumes discussed/created/edited


Dance

Warm up with Improvisation and Movement

Dance Intensive - Introduction to Musical Theatre dance styles and combinations for a successful dance callback.

Group Choreography -Learn Group numbers from the two featured musicals.


Acting

Acting Intensive - Monologue preparation

Tips for analyzing and presenting Cold Reads on the spot using sides from the featured musicals.

Final Callback* - Full audition with song cut, monologue and dance call.

Arbender Robinson made his Broadway debut in the Tony Award winning production of Hairspray where he covered the role of Seaweed. He covered Prince Eric in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, served as Dance Captain and Swing for the Broadway revival of Hair. Other Broadway credits include Ragtime, The Lion King, the original cast of Beautiful The Carole King Musical and performances as a cover for Marius in the 2014 revival of Les Miserables. Robinson currently stars in the Tony Nominated Shuffle Along where he performs as a swing. He was a featured vocalist with Royal Caribbean Cruises, Disney productions and many shows regionally and abroad including Smokey Joe’s Café, Sweeney Todd, Secret Garden, Aida, Miss Saigon and Into the Woods.

Whitney Winfield
performed the role of Fiona in the Networks national tour of Shrek the Musical. Her New York credits include Bend in the Road for the New York Musical Theatre Festival and in The Underclassman for Prospect Theatre Company. Throughout her undergraduate years pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre from Pace University in NYC, Winfield performed regionally in her home state of Florida several title roles including Brooklyn in Bklyn the Musical, Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Nanette in No, No, Nanette. Prior to Pace University, Winfield studied at the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy Performing Arts High School in Michigan.

Lana Neuman has performed as featured dancer or dance captain in several Off Broadway readings, concerts, national tours and internationally at the Fringe Festival, in Scooby Doo Live! for Warner Bros. in Egypt, Turner Classic Movies, DreamWorks and Ariel for Disney Cruise Line. Before completing her BFA in Musical Theatre at AMDA, Neuman performed in several Southwest Florida regional productions in opera and musical theatre in leading roles including Natalie in All Shook Up and Sally Simpson in The Who’s Tommy. Neuman has appeared in film and commercials as a featured dancer and singer, including a recently shot feature film in China.
